Yes, they can.

The last time I fell in love with a Pet Shop Boys album had to be their Very, which was after their successful Behavior album.
While I've became a fan by then and continuously bought their releases but I was never as satisfied with the releases except for specific tracks (Se A Vida E in Bilingual, I Get Along in Release). I also managed to skip the Nightlife album although I'm very much in love with its New York City Boy track.
In across it all, there's also the release of PopArts compilation, the Concrete live album which were quite a good collectibles.
Somewhere in 2006, they release Fundamental, which critics claimed to be their return to the disco days which I don't agree about. Perhaps the only track I like is Integral and I'm With Stupid. But then again, PSP's work by now are very much for its fans and possibly self indulgence.
Yes, the album is perhaps, I could safely say see their return to form, something that makes me fall in love with their Very album. More pop less techno, More down to earth, less alien-ish concept.
Love etc, the first track lifted of this new album is nothing new but something familiar, something of the "Can You Forgive Her?" style, which is nice and comfortable.
The next 3 tracks (All Over The World, Beautiful People and Did You See Me Coming?) are perhaps the tracks I loved the most. Beautifully arranged backed by nice orchestra-ish music.
The next few are very much album tracks with familiar synthesizers flare in it.
Thankfully, there is Pandemonium that brightens up the whole album again.
The last track Legacy is another familiar track, something one can find in Jealousy, although 6 minutes could be a bit too long for this mellow ballad.
Overall, it's a very pop album and I'm glad I bought it.

The Movie Marathon weekend...halted temporary

Okay...i've stopped at 4.5 movies..not bad for 3/4 of Saturday, ain't it or that just show that i'm not having any life at all?!
Neways, here's how the marathon started around 2pm.

Funny? Nope.
Stupid? As always.
Disaster? Yep.
Like: The take on Amy Adam's Enchanted character
The stupid Amy Winehouse and Juno.
Good for the first movie of a marathon, it's so bad that the next series of movies will feel much positive.

Was supposed to go to the cinema to watch it but was too lazy. Furthermore, it's not even in those classy cineplex but in two very old cinema (probably in line with the 'slum' image).
No argument that it was a good movie. It's not about how Jamal won the Millionaire contest but the love story behind it was well played. And the quite true story of the poor kids life in India.

Read my earlier entry.
Definitely had to watch it again. Not that it was that good, in fact it is not. But i was watching the Cantonese version, so i need to watch it again with the original HOllywood version.
I have yet to finish this one.
Ricky Gervais again being the 'asshole' guy but do find the interesting bit of seeing his vanity side (haha) on his first non-date date with Tea Leoni's characters.

Ben Thomas, IRS

I didn't think I would cry as the secret was very well revealed quite early in the movie and one would've already expected the ending of Will Smith's character.

But it was the final scene when Emily (Rosario Dawson) went to meet Ezra Johnson (Woody Harrelson), that I can't help but let it all out. The scene was not really sad at all since it's two strangers (only bound by Will Smith's Ben Thomas) met for the first time. However, I somehow understand Emily's feeling at that moment and it was really really happy yet painful.

I'm not gonna say more. While this is no In Pursuit of Happiness, in fact it was not that 'gluey' for the first hour but if you do want to watch, be patient and watch till the end, not for the Secret but for that final scene.

Continue to milk our money

I do hope that this will be the last release of Rihanna's Good Girl Gone Bad album as I could not think of any other possibilities that the record company could release any more crazy version of this brilliant album.
Back in 2007, in Europe and in Asia, a enhance version of the Good Girl Gone Bad album was released which come with a 2nd disc, that consist of key remixes of tracks in that album. Of course, back then, Take A Bow has yet to be recorded and so was the track with Maroon 5.
in 2008, a Reloaded version was released with the two songs mentioned but minus the remixes.
And in early 2009, after 2 years the album was released, we got a Remix album. And for those who already had that 2007 Special Edition, there's really nothing new and worth to purchase since that disc contains 12 remixes, of which 8 of those tracks were featured in this new Remix album.
So, what's new and what's missing?
New tracks:
Disturbia (Jody den Broeder Mix)
Don't Stop the Music (Jody den Broeder Mix)
Take A Bow (Tony Moran Mix)
Umbrella (Lindbergh Mix)
Missing:
Don't Stop the Music (Wideboys Mix)
Haunted (Steve Mac Mix) - a track from previous album
Cry (Steve Mac Mix) - a track from previous album
SOS (Digital Dog Mix) - a track from previous album
So, is it worth to purchase this new Remix album? that really depends. If you have yet to purchase that 2007 special edition, then probably yes.
Most of the mixes are quite okay, and if you are an avid clubber, you would already have listen to most of those mixes anyway. However, the Jody's mix of Don't Stop the Music featured here is not the Big Room mix version, which was a better mix.
Perhaps they should have compiled a much updated or rare remixes rather than these common ones. Example, the Tracy Young mix of DSTM was an exceptionally refreshing track.

I responded...

Like it or not, here’s a track by track review of Maroon 5’s Call & Response: The Remix Album. If you ever like Maroon 5 but not crazy enough to buy their album, it’s time to buy this one. This is what you will get when you ask DJs and hip-hop producers to revision their own Maroon 5’s tracks.

The one good thing about this remix album is being not too clubby and not too heavy with sampling. Most are quite light and simple.

If I Never See You Again (Swiss Beatz Remix) – the original track without Rihanna. The rap intro had me by surprised but very classy with heavy sampling, making it having a late 80s or early 90s feel. A bit Cliviles + Coles feel to it though.

Wake Up Called (feat. Mary J.Blige) (Mark Ronson Mix) – Anything that featuring Mary J. Blige will get me crazy about it. For example, the Moto Blanco mix of Robin Thicke’s Magic which feature Mary on it is another good track. Overall, I don’t find this track any majorly different from its original although with a whole new music arrangement, yet maintain its tasteful rock feel.

Sunday Morning (Ahmir Thompson Mix) – One of my favorite Maroon 5’s track. Here, the remixer was good in maintaining the overall ‘lazy Sunday morning’ mood to it. I love the sound of the piano throughout the track.

Makes Me Wonder (Ryan West Mix) – the dramatic piano intro, had me by surprised in view of the upbeat original version. Here, the remixer had stripped it off and give it a ochestra-ish first verse before lacing in the heavy beats during the chorus. Very Mary J.Blige’s No More Drama.

This Love (RedZone Mix) – Initially, I thought it’s a Red One production. Again, stripping off the original sound, this mix is not too heavy with bass or beats. Just simple sythensized beats, light electro feel. Not something to shout about though. But the adding of ‘She Will Be Loved’ at the end was a surprise, and would be much better if it’s perfectly fade into the next track…

She Will Be Loved (Neptunes Mix) – The drum beats signify Pharell Williams’ works. Instead of making it a head banger club track, Neptunes just create a slightly more upbeat feel to the track. Perhaps missing a rap verse at the bridge.

Shiver (DJ Quik mix) – once you get a DJ to redo your song, it’s definitely a club track. Well, not this one. Very bluesy feel.

Wake Up Call (David Banner Mix) – Not my favorite track here as I would have expected heavier beats. Let’s skip this…

Harder to Breathe (The Cool Kids Mix) – I still prefer the original version than this one although this is not too far away from it except the inclusion of the rap verse.

Little of Your Time (Bloodshy & Avant Mix) – What can one expect from B&A? An electro-dance track of course. Not a very big fan of B&A…too Fatboy Slim feel here.

Little of Your Time (Montreal Mix) – The beat gets heavier here. Not sure why it’s being arranged as a back-to-back track with the B&A Mix. But don’t really like both mixes. It felt like an experiment for both remixers.

Goodnight Goodnight (Deerhoof Mix) – a slow electronic opening…then the guitar notes…the haunting vocal of Adam Levine creates a very dark feeling to it, that is until it get into the chorus. Not sure what the remixer is trying to do here, it’s like mixing few concepts into one song which somehow didn’t really work that well.

Not Falling Apart (Tiesto Mix) – the first club track in the album and nicely done by DJ Tiesto. I like this remix, giving it a Euro-dance feel to it.

Better Than We Break (Ali Shaheed Muhammad Mix) – Another good attempt, creating a light hip-hop feel. Fusion jazz perhaps. Running at only 2 minutes 40 second, perhaps it’s a bit too short.

Secret (Premier 5 Mix) – This remix reminds me of another remix, can’t remember but I believed it’s the All Star mix of Madonna’s Secret. In fact, it would be perfect if Madonna was to lend her vocals here.

Woman (Sam Farrar Mix) – another fusion jazz mix. Not very outstanding but nice for another lazy afternoon in the bar/lounge.

This Love (Cut Copy Galactic Beach House Mix) – Very Madonna’s Confession on A Dance Floor feel. This is not a song but a nice dance track. I would have called it a Beach House Dub rather than Mix but nonetheless, good remix.

If I Never See Your Face Again (Paul Oakenfold Mix) – mmmm….what can one expect but another club classic from Oakenfold. Is that Rihanna’s Disturbia I’m hearing?

With 18 tracks in one CD, definitely a worthy to purchase and considering quite a few are very radio friendly too.

That's Why It's Jazz

Well, I'm not sure if this is only available in Thailand or at least in the Asia region but definitely worth the purchase, not just because it's jazz but it's JAZZ.

A 2 disc compilation at the price of one. Swing Out Sister's Am I The Same Girl is in it. Laura Fygi is in it. Natalie Cole is in it. Quincy Jone is in it. and having Kelly Sweet's Raincoat as the opening track is like Renee Zellwegger telling Tom Cruise in Jerry Maguire "you had me at hello".

I really do not wish to make a review out of this album namely because it's been weeks since I have it and I'm still not very excited about it. Honestly, this ain't Beautiful World (their comeback album) but it doesn't mean that it's bad.

But since I have time to burn while being stucked in the airport, I guess I might as well make my peace with this album.

Yes, it was one of the best selling album in UK for 2008 but like what D'Luv mentioned, perhaps it was too much Mark Owen and too less Gary Barlow.

The opening track, The Garden was quite nice with a soft piano intro, then came the husky vocal of Mark Owen which was okay until Gary Barlow....

Greatest Day was okay but ain't Patience (their initial comeback single).

Hello is definitely a gem here which reminds me of Shine and again nicely led by Mark.

The Circus was quite good, at least better than Britney's.

The next gem on the CD had to be How Did It Come To This, which was led by Howard or was it Jason (just like how Wooden Boat being the treasure in Beautiful World).

Howard's make a very chilling yet comfy vocal to What Is Love, though not very outstanding but a very good night track.

In the Asia released album, the album officially ended with Hold Up A Light, another Mark's led track. Jumpy and fun. Curiously, the 12th track Here (in the Europe version) is not in the album but She Said, the hidden track is. A very nice fun track, chacha and salsa....definitely a good one to end the album.

Overall, another good effort from the lads...showing their maturity, moving away from cheesy dance pop and going into more indie/rock pop.

I Have An Announcement to Make...

I had one of the loveliest new year eve’s eve dinner. We decided to celebrate a day earlier as a few of us will be travelling on the 1st, hence they need some time on the 31st. Although the dinner was not the ideal (that would’ve been impossible) but it had to be one of the better one for me at least in the past couple of years.

The best term to describe that dinner session would be ‘One Client & 4 Agencies’. There are five of us, one working in the client side, two from competing agencies and another two are currently freelancers.

The place was Italianies, in Gardens, one of the new shopping mall next to Mid Valley. We were seated at the corner with a very good view especially when the large drain outside looked like a small river at night. LOL!

The food was great. We had Caesar salad, which to be is pretty standard, the Bruschetta was very good and so was the Roasted Red Pepper, juicy and sweet. Perhaps we were relatively late that the restaurant ran out of a few items on the menu. For main, we had Magharita Pizza, which was quite good. The taste was just right. The spaghetti came with a real huge portion and everything just went well with the 2007 Sauvignon Blanc white wine.

The only weak point came from the Service. The crew who serve us was quite good initially, being very patient with our indecisiveness but he soon turns out to be quite unreliable as a few of our requests were repeatedly ignore. I don’t really blame him as he was also serving a few other tables, which indicate the lack of resources. A very common issue in KL. Here’s some of the few things he did that annoy our ‘Client’.

We asked him to set up for our fifth member who came late, fashionably as always, a few times but was very much ignored. The complimentary bread which was supposedly and had to be the first appetizer to be placed on our table was somehow one of the last one. All we had was the plate of olive oil to stare at. We did inform him about it but again was repeatedly ignored.

Opening the wine was another near disaster. For a restaurant who serve wine, I would have expected the crew to be well trained. Bringing the bottle with one wine glass to our table, and then return later with the other three somehow reflected the staff lack of knowledge. Took a while for him to open the wine and probably nervous, he ended up serving the wine to three out of the four glasses. Hmmmmm……..

Our friend, the Client, decided to behave like a Client and make some bitchy complaints to the Manager while the four Agencies, behaving like Agencies just kept quite and listen to the Client complaints.

The Manager behaving like a well-trained Manager, did make sure our evening was not totally ruined as he switched an experience crew to our table and offered us two lovely desserts. Both the Cappucino Pie (which was an ice-cream cake) and the Cheesecake were really good. And we had a good time that night.

I don’t mind returning to this restaurant again. And so is our ‘Client’.

p/s ATO, wish you were here.

Everyone's coming out with their Ultimate...

Love this album mainly because most of my Celine's album (especially her earlier and much better albums) are in cassette format. Hence, it's worth to get this album and had quite a good selection of songs jam packed into these 2 disc album.

Reason to buy this album:

1. It has If You Asked Me To, the beautiful ballad penned by who else but Dianne Warren.

2. The live version of My Love which is much better than the album version, and this is a gem coming from the talented Linda Perry.

3. Power of the Dream. I had this track but from one of her CD single . This is the Olympic track.

4. all the important duets are here. Tell Him (with Barbra Streisand), Beauty & THe Beast, The Prayer (with Andrea Bocelli) and I'm Your Angel (with R. Kelly)

5. My Heart will Go On is here, and so is the lovely track To Love You More

6. Her rendition of the late Luther Vandross' Dance with my Father.

A definite gem, at least for me.

Tonight the Audience Sat Still

While internationally, this movie is scheduled to be released on the 12 Dec but we, the audience in Bangkok get to see it 2 days a head, probably thanks to the 10 Dec being a holiday.

Anyway, how was it? Hmmmm.....at least I knew I sat still.

Compared to other major disaster movies (Armageddon, Deep Impact, The Day After Tomorrow) or Alien/Monster movies (Independence Day, Cloverfield), TDTESS tend to be a bit lame or was it because of Jennifer Connelly? Never much seen her movies..and she don't really make much strong impression.

Considering that there's really no big huge movie, it's okay to give this a try. Just don't complain too much. The last scene is actually quite horrid where the Earth really stood still but the Director ignored the disaster it had and hence shown nothing about Aeroplanes falling from the sky or Submarines sinked deeper....

The most funny thing was that towards 40+ minutes into the movie (when Jennifer's Dr Benson inject a water saline into Keanu Reeve), the theatre suddenly paused. Screen went blank. Lights was on. I was wondering if a coup had happen outside or something major.

Sadly, the building was experiencing power failure........hence that moment, the audience sat still for about 10 minutes.

Evolve-Revolve...

Can't recall when I bought his last album 'Once Again' which was a very enjoyable album with a few really outstanding tracks. But then again, with John Legend, I felt that one should not pick any specific track but to just listen to the album as a whole. and that's what i've been doing with his latest offering, Evolver.

It's as enjoyable as his last album. And I already have a few tracks that I absolutely love. From the Morning Intro, the album launch into a few upbeat tracks that kinda motivate you. Really good to play it before going to work. Green Light was a collabration with Outkast's Andre 3000 and the result was a brilliant John Legend track with Outkast's groove to it. It's Over follow next but it's a bit normal considering this is a Pharell & Kanye composition. Not even the Teddy Riley mix (featured as one of the two bonus tracks) help much.

Like its title, Quickly, the collabration with Brandy quickly grooved up on you. The latter part of the album are slow jamz and are all nicely done. Not sure why but Can't Be My Lover, John's attempt at Ragga was not in the official track list but is being featured as the additional Bonus Track. Featuring Buju Banton, this track is quite brilliant, just like how I love his PDA on his sophomore album.

Third offering...and still nothing is wrong with it....definitely a Legend.

Too Much of No Sound....

Perhaps i've been too busy with work and updating myself with the news, that the appearance of this EP in the music store today totally surprise me.

Or perhaps it was more of a Europe release, hence it got less buzz over in the States.

Anyway, consist of the Radio Edit version plus 6 other club mixes, it's quite a good buy.

The mixes are very much normal affair with no track clearly outshines here. If any, it will have to be the Rebirth Remix and also Stuart Price's Thin White Duke Remix.

Definitely a mess...a beautiful mess!

Unless you are about my age or older, you might felt a bit clueless if you hear people mentioned about Swing Out Sister. Of course, that include my friend, the one we called 'You Know Who' amongst my circle of friends. hahaha.

Anyway, when one mentioned Swing Out Sister, two songs normally came to mind. The addictive 'Breakout' and the appealing "Am I The Same Girl' (which is also being used by Martha Stewart on her show Martha).

Bought their album recently, although it isn't one of their better album but it ain't bad either. Very much your afternoon tea affair. I mean what can you expect out of a jazz album, except to sit back, relax with a cup of earl grey and hot scone, on the garden...and coozy up with Swing Out Sister.

Not going to do any track by track review as this album is meant for full listen (minus the two remixes at the end). A few outstanding tracks coming from this album, the current single "Something Every Day" which really get very catchy after a few listens, "Butterfly" and the title track "Beautiful Mess".

Well, go out and buy this album if you are one who enjoy jazz music.

Oh..did i mention she kinda sound likes Lisa Stansfield? Hmmm...when is Lisa going to make a comeback?

I'm Not Ashamed to say that I Bought this....

Yes, it's the comeback album from these five lads. And if you are like me at the initial just can't see yourself going to the record store and be seen holding this album, well...think twice.

This is definitely a great album, even if you hate them for destroying your teen life with those haunting songs (I'll Be Loving You Forever, Step by Step, etc), you should buy this album for the songs itself.

If you like the lead single, "Summertime", you will definitely like most of the tracks here.

Going back to yonder years where they were really kids, hence the songs they had were generally sugar pop, enticing teens in their dreams, etc...then clearly failing with their third album, the 'we wanna be street/edgy' Games album which clearly flop and then the breakup.

Anyway, let's get back to this album. It's definitely pop with a bit of hip-hop nicely laced into it. The first track "Click Click Click" would already get you up and moving to the deep soothing beats. "Single" is a much better track than "Summertime" and it also feature Ne-Yo. Glad that it is the second single lifted off this album.

There are really tons of cool tracks which include 'Dirty Dancing', with a cool piano intro then blasting with ragga beats, the surprisingly good 'Sexify My Love'. Of course the duet with New Edition on "Full Service".

Perhaps the let down have to be coming from the track featuring Pussycat doll.

But no worries, just go out, buy this album, put in your car audio and blast it.

Around Thailand in 4 hours...

I'm pretty tired at the moment, not because of the 'tour de Thailand' this morning but from the crazy new Body Combat choreograph that's killing my thighs. Oh...this entry is about my trip to Samut Prakan this morning.

Well, with only 4 hours plus of sleep, it was really amazing that I manage to survive the tour of which my friend arrive at my place around 7.45am! We reached the Ancient City (Muang Boran) aroudn 8.30am and started our tour in a small golf cart (as it's still early and we do not wish to wait for others to come and get into the trem).

The Ancient City is about 600 hectres and one will not be able to complete the tour within a day by walking. It's pretty huge. The layout was designed in a way that it is a replica of Thailand, ie. that when you enter, you'll be entering the Southern region first, then the tour guide brought us to Central, then Bangkok, central again, then Northeast and finally Northern region before we stop for lunch at the so-called 'floating market', which is quite a sad one.

Throughout the tour we just walk a bit, sat a lot and hear the guide telling us history about each place that we stopped. Most of the places were really interesting and definitely lots of stories and folklore behind it.

You have to be there early in the morning as it will not be that hot and you would finish everything by 1pm. But then again, i felt that the half day tour was really too rush and lots of great places that we never stop. Perhaps when my friends came visit Bangkok, i'll try to get them to visit this place...we can then rent the golf cart ourselves though it's quite expensive; 300baht per hour for a 4 seater.

More pictures from the Anciet City can be found here.

You Have Been Activated

After the Batman craze, it has been weeks since I found myself in the cinema. And with the Summer movie season gone, there's really not much great movies coming along. Then there was this movie called "Eagle Eye" which had Steven Spielberg billed to it.

So...it should be good right? Er...................

Well, in general, it's not bad. Similar to "Wanted", it has the interesting teaser, the overall concept of the story but kinda fail when showing the audience the whole truth behind the story.
But let's talk about Shia Le Bouf. Again, he played the same character that we get to know him through Transformers and Indiana Jones. A cocky young kid. Perhaps the only difference this time is that we get to see his character matured over time and he finally learnt about responsibilities.

Overall, the movie is filled with fast paced action, the car scene chase was really crazy that you just do not know what's happening and how it's happening. That's something I find it annoying in this movie.

Coming to an hour of the movie, the truth behind the story was revealed, though it might still take a while for those who are not that knowledgeable about modern technology. And, i'm not going to spoil the movie by revealing it here but just don't expect to find the villain being some terrorist, cause it's not.

Enjoying the Remixes

While the original version was not bad but it is definitely the Freemanson Club Mix that brought this track to the club scene.

Both the main version as well as the Soul Seekerz club mix are to dance for.

While she released the maxi-single in the US consist of 8 club mixes, the UK fans will have to bear with just the Tong & Spoon mixes (which have the extended mix, the radio edit and the dub mix). And of those 8 tracks, it is the Tong & Spoon mix that really had fans buzzing about.

The remixers here are of lesser known but still provide a good club beat to this lovely song. The Ian Carey vocal mix had to be one of my favorite.

The original version which was fully built up on Lenny Kravitz's It Ain't Over Till It's Over is a good song on its own and really do not need any remix to boost it up.
Full Phat remix tend to tone down the sampling and put up a heavier synthesized beats to it. But the one to look for is definitely the Moto Blanco mix.

This is actually the maxi-single which boast quite a list of club mixes but it was the Josh Harris Edit and the Mix Show Edit that stand out the most.

Worth It Being Mia-ed

I kinda regret when I decided not to buy this album a week ago, and since there is no CD shops in my work place, I tried to search for the bootleg version and to my surprise there was none. Which normally indicate one thing...there's no demand for it.

But I took the risk and went to the CD shop I visited last week and bought it. I mean what is the likelihood that it will be crap considering it's ABBA songs. The only minor issue is that it's perform by people better known on the movie screens than on CDs. Meryl Streep? Pierce Brosnan?

Besides Pierce Brosnan, this OST didn't really suck. In fact it was quite good including the almost unrecognizable voice of Meryl Streep. Most of the songs here have been well-sung by many people including Erasure in their ABBA-esque EP.

Funnily, the outstanding songs here are the lesser known ones - Our Last Summer and The Name of The Game. Our Last Summer is definitely my favorite besides the hidden track, Thank You For the Music.

If you have yet to own any ABBA CDs, it's time to get this one then go and watch the movie.

Beautiful Tour indeed.

First it was this 'reunion' tour. Which tears did run down my face while watching it.

Then, the release of this amazingly great album, which showed their maturity and one of their best album to date.

And now the tour. While it was not as great as teh Ultimate Tour, but it was overall a good show with good songs well performed.

Boast a set of 17 tracks, it was quite a nice 110minutes of entertainment.

A few outstanding tracks. Relight My Fire is one of it. Although Lulu is not featured like how she was in the previous tour but they did manage to do a greatversion of it and by putting it Gnarls Barkley's Crazy in the bridge. Really cool.

Everything Changes and Could It Be Magic are two old tracks that got some new breath into it and it was really good. Take That's fan will surely be singing and swinging to it.

Having Pray as the last track was really for the fans since it was done in its original version. And it was this track that had me crying when they perform in their Ultimate Tour. But this time, I just felt nice.

In addition, the new tracks from the Beautiful World album were also nicely done here especially Jason's solo take on Wooden Boat and also Mark's Shine.

Another collection to keep. If only they had the audio version.

Why so serious?

Three years ago, Christhoper Nolan informed us it has begun. Three years after that, Christopher Nolan returns and showed us the dark side of the knight.

I told you it was coming back in April, and it had came and creating history. I'm glad I experienced it. For the past 2 weeks I've been having 4 hours + of sleep focusing on reports after reports and today, I decided to drop everything and enjoy the Friday night that it's supposed to be. I don't care what the client said about me ignoring her calls, I just needed my time off.

So there I was, at the ticket counter, paying crazy price for the movie. And I'm glad I did.

Nolan wasted no time in telling its audience how he wanted this movie to be like, right from the beginning. It's real, it's dark and he's not holding back.

There are a few scenes that I try not to watch as it is really scary and real, and yes, it has Joker in it. He's one hell of a 'ma-fah'. And the late Mr. Heath Ledger did play a crazy Joker, much better than Jack Nicholson's. I do hope the Academy will give him a nod in next year's Oscar.

I'm not going to tell you much about this movie (no spoiler!) but just don't bring your kid to watch it. It's quite gory at times...especially Two Face.

Running at 150minutes, it was well worth to go to the cinema and watch it, to enjoy the chilling score, the visual effect and other stuff.

The quotes: "Why so Serious?", "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself becoming a villain"
